Continuing Care
The Retirement and Active Living Committee (RALC) of The 1818 Society in Washington prepared a report in 2004 on Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC) in the DC area. This report contains information on facilities and experiences of care facilities in the Greater Washington area. It has apparently been widely used and is now being updated. We would like members’ views on whether we should prepare a similar report for residents of the UK. Do you think it would be useful to develop a report on CARE facilities/systems/support in the UK at home and in the community? We would like your opinions and experiences on this topic, so please send your comments to June Arben.
