By road . Leave the M40 at J15, taking the A46 and the A439 towards Stratford. Follow the one-way system, turn left (A3400) over the Bridge. The Macdonald Swan's Nest Hotel is on the right off Swan’s Nest Lane (you have to go around the traffic circle and go back towards the bridge to access Swan’s Nest Lane). You can also get to the hotel from the south via the A3400 from Oxford, or from the north via the A3400 from Birmingham.
By Rail . The Station is about 0.5 miles away. Stratford is readily accessible by rail from the North. You change trains at Birmingham and have to cross from New Street station to Moor Street station for the onward connection to Stratford. Rail connections from the south are patchy. There is a taxi rank immediately outside the station.
By Air . There are direct flights into Birmingham airport from Frankfurt and Dusseldorf (Flybe & Lufthansa), Hamburg (Flybe), Amsterdam (Bmibaby & KLM) and Paris (Flybe & Air France) and connecting flights from the USA via New York (Continental). |
